Amit Shah Slams Rahul Gandhi Over “Fake” Constitution, Vows to Block Minority Reservations

In a recent rally in Palamu, Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of disrespecting the Indian Constitution by displaying a “fake” copy during a public appearance. Shah claimed that the copy shown by Gandhi, which had “Constitution of India” written on its cover, was empty inside, calling it a deliberate attempt to mock the Constitution. He further asserted that by doing so, Rahul Gandhi had insulted Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the Constituent Assembly.

Shah also reiterated his position that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would never allow the Congress to implement religion-based reservations, particularly for minorities. He alleged that the Congress was attempting to divert reservations away from OBCs, Dalits, and tribals, in favor of minorities. Referring to Congress’s promises to grant reservations to minorities in Maharashtra, Shah claimed that the BJP, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would staunchly oppose any move to introduce such measures.

In addition, Shah made a forceful statement regarding Congress’s stance on Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. He warned Rahul Gandhi that no future generations of the Gandhi family would be able to bring back Article 370, asserting that Kashmir is and will always remain an integral part of India.

Shah also targeted the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led government in Jharkhand, accusing Chief Minister Hemant Soren of corruption. He called the state government the “most corrupt” in the country and criticized Soren’s claims that the BJP was using the issue of infiltration as a political tool. Shah’s remarks came as the state gears up for assembly elections on November 13 and 20, with vote counting scheduled for November 23
